Click on the
Start Menu.
Select
Control Panel.
Click on
Network
and Internet Connections
then Network Connections
or
Double click on the
Wireless
Network Connection icon
Select the
Wireless Networks
tab.
If "WSU
Secure" is not listed in the
preferred networks click Add...
Next In the Association tab change
the following settings
Network name(SSID):
WSU
Secure
Network Authentication:
Data encryption: AES
Click the "Authentication" tab and change the following settings:
EAP type:
Protected EAP
(PEAP)
Uncheck
the checkbox to "Authenticate as computer
when computer information is
available." ![]() Click the properties button
under EAP type:
Change the following settings:
Check "Enable Fast Reconnect"
Set Authentication Method
to Secured password (EAP-MSCHAP v2) if it
isn't already. ![]() Click Configure... button. Uncheck the checkbox that say to "Automatically use my Windows logon name and password" ... then click "OK" NOTE: Unless this box is unchecked, WSU Secure will never prompt you for your wildcat username and password to authenticate to the wireless system.
Click OK until all open windows are closed.
You will see a balloon in the
lower right corner of your
screen.
Click on the balloon
When prompted enter your
credentials use your WildCat
Username and Wildcat password ![]() If you are still
unable to connect to WSU Secure
