Mac OSX (10.5 or Leopard) Wireless Setup Instructions | ||||||||||||||

Make sure you are
running at least Mac OS version
10.5.4 Click on the
Apple Menu at the top left corner of
the screen and select “About this
Mac” If
necessary Turn Airport On as shown
below ![]()
Select WSU Secure from the Airport Menu
Enter your Wildcat Username and Password
If the following error occurs, reset your Wildcat password and wait several minutes before trying the new password. If you still can't connect, check out the "Common Problems" section at the end.
AFTER A SUCCESSFUL LOGIN --- CONTINUE BELOW
Accept the certificate by clicking "Show Certificate"
Change the Trust Settings to "Always Trust" and click Continue
You should now be able to connect to the WSU Secure Wireless network.
COMMON PROBLEMS
First check the version of Mac OSX
by
clicking on the Apple Menu at the
top left corner of the screen and
select “About this Mac”
In the Airport menu select Open Network Preferences
If Airport is not selected, click on it and then click the "Advanced" button.
Click on the
802.1X tab and add a User Profile by
clicking on the + sign in the lower
left corner. Select only PEAP in the Authentication box. Click OK and then click Apply.
Now click on "Turn Airport Off" and then click on "Turn Airport On" in the Airport menu.

unable to connect to WSU Secure
