Division Titles and Address
Configurations
Addresses on letterhead, envelopes and
cards are built with Stone Serif and complimented with Helvetica Bold.
Typography and spacing will remain constant on these applications in order
to maintain university-wide consistency. See link for examples
of addresses on stationery and envelopes.
Use the examples in fig. A as models
for addresses in other situations.
When used along with address
configurations mark/signature units should be dominant with division title
and street address sub-dominant. Common errors are shown in fig. B.
Minimum Sizes
The simple design of the university
mark enables it to appear well-defined even at a very small size. The
athletics mark and the president’s seal are more detailed and will not
display as well in extreme reductions (fig. C).

5A. Helvetica Bold offsets division titles on letterhead, envelope and business card addresses. The university signature and main body of the address are of the ITC Stone Serif typeface family.
A distance equal to the height of the first letter in the signature should be maintained around the signature. |

|
5B. University mark and signature should appear dominant when used in address configurations.
Street address and city/state/zip information should always appear on the last two lines in order to insure timely mail delivery. |

5C. Marks should not be displayed at smaller sizes than the examples above. When printed on newsprint or other low- grade stock or when presented on electronic displays, minimum sizes should be adjusted according to the capability of the medium to show detail and thus preserve the integrity of each mark. |
