Our purpose in this
document is to emphasize the necessity of university
identification, to reinforce the advantages of using
university marks of identity (logos) and to clarify the
university’s position on the use of separate marks to
identify sub-units and related organizations.
This information
should improve the effectiveness of our messages and
help to ensure consistency and professionalism in our
institutional image.

All communication
materials produced by or about Weber State University
(including brochures, pamphlets, books, advertisements,
posters, videos, electronic web pages, etc.) should
identify the university in a clear manner.
Failure
to adequately identify the university hinders effective
communication. A visual link between publication
contents and the university title should be easy to see.
Legal Trademarks
The marks shown
here are registered as legal trademarks of Weber State
University. It is important that we discontinue using
the "old" marks and avoid producing new
variations.
All three marks
share a common structural form even though each one is
designed with a specific role in mind. This gives visual
unity to the set and underscores our common purpose.
