POLICY

A. University departments or groups shall not hold dinner meetings, luncheons, socials or otherwise and charge the same to their departmental budgets.

B. This policy does not preclude the possibility of taking University guests to lunch or dinner when the situation demands or on other appropriate occasions when the institution is expected to host various groups. In such instances, a requisition must be prepared, approved by the dean, and a purchase order issued in advance. Confirmation order will not be accepted by the Purchasing Department.
