POLICY
An annual report of college and departmental activities shall be submitted by
each academic dean to the provost at the end of each academic year. The
report should be primarily qualitative, addressing the unit's major
objectives and progress achieved in meeting them. Helpful kinds of
information include the following:
A. Academic programs introduced, eliminated or substantially revised, if
any, and outcomes of any significant instructional experiments in
progress
B. Outcomes of any significant faculty development activities
C. Special reconitions received by faculty and staff members
D. Highlights of ongoing scholarly activities, including such outcomes as
publications, meeting presentations, artistic performances and showings
and other comparable products
E. Outcomes of significant professional service activities for the unit,
the institution, the profession or the community
F. Major goals for the future
G. Significant problems faced by the school
