POLICY

A. Final class examinations are given only during the last week of each quarter. These are scheduled by the university and not by the individual instructor.

1. Exceptions to formal final examinations consistent with the objectives of individual courses may be granted by agreement between individual faculty members and the department chair.

2. Permission for an individual student to take an early final examination may be granted by the instructor of the course.

B. Students who require special examinations should make appropriate arrangements with their instructors.
