I. POLICY

The Stewart Library is a participating member of the Utah College Library Council. Through this organization, faculty members may use the book collections of other colleges and universities in the state.

II. PROCEDURE

A. Individuals may borrow books by either checking them out personally at the other libraries or by having Stewart Library personnel use the teletype system. In either instance, materials should be returned to the Stewart Library at the end of the loan period.

B. No charge is made for inter-library loan services except when it is necessary to obtain copies of items which are not available for loan. These may be paid for either personally or by charging it to the department on an inter-library loan form.
