I. POLICY
A. Instructional media for use by the faculty in the purview of their
teaching assignments shall be produced by Instructional Development
after consultation with the production coordinator as to the most
appropriate medium for the presentation.
B. Production of materials for personal or noninstructional purposes shall
not be undertaken.
C. There shall be no charge for consultation or labor, but the costs of
materials used in the production media shall be borne by the department
initiating the request.
II. PROCEDURE
A. Instructional materials in a variety of formats can be obtained by
contacting the production coordinator of Instructional Development.
B. A medium will be selected jointly by the instructor and production
coordinator and a completion date will be established according to the
production workload and the needs of the instructor.
C. Upon completion and delivery of the materials, a list of material charges will be provided to the instructor. Payment for materials will be received from departments by an interdepartmental billing prepared by Instructional Development and submitted to the Business Office.
