POLICY

A. The University will extend, at no cost to its full-time salaried employees, a basic medical insurance plan providing for such items as hospitalization, surgical benefits, accidents and long-term disability.

B. The University will provide group life insurance for which it pays the cost of the first $50,000 of coverage and long-term disability insurance.

C. Details of the insurance programs may be obtained from the Personnel Office.

D. Part-time salaried employees working one-half (1/2) time or more may participate in the basic medical, life and disability plans with the University paying a portion of the cost proportionate to the portion of full-time worked if the employee authorizes the withholding of funds to pay the remaining amount.
