I. GENERAL:
A. Students employed at Weber State University may be on either "university
work-study" or "student aid" programs. "Work-study" is supported with
Federal funds and "student aid" through state appropriation.
B. Campus employment policy requires that needy students be given
preference for employment when their skills and schedules are equal to
that particular job.
II. POLICY:
A. "Work-study students must be cleared through the Financial Aids Office.
Rate of pay is controlled by the Financial Aids Office and is determined
by the available funds, student's need analysis, and type of work.
B. The "student aid" program is administered by the Office of the Vice
President for Business Affairs.
C. Rates of pay shall be in conformance with the part-time salary schedule
maintained by the university.
D. All policies regarding student employment shall apply without regard to race, color, religion, sex, or national origin of prospective employees.
