I. REFERENCE

The Utah Higher Education Act of 1969, Section 15, pp. 23-24

II. POLICY

A. As empowered by the Board of Trustees, the president shall designate all contract and/or disbursing officers for the University.

Designees shall act as official representatives and shall have the authority to bind the University in all contractual and financial matters to the extent said authority is delegated to them by the president.

B. No person other than the president of the University or his/her designees can bind the University in any contractual or financial commitments.
