POLICY

A. The president shall be responsible for the proper and timely conduct of all business matters that pertain to the operation of the University.

B. The president shall prescribe appropriate regulations and procedures for the conduct of all business matters to insure compliance with the statutory requirements, Board of Trustees regulations and State Board of Regents regulations.

C. The president shall be responsible that the financial records of the University be kept on the forms and under the regulation prescribed by the State Board of Regents for the uniform system for the University accounting in the state of Utah. Financial reports will be prepared and submitted to the Board of Trustees for transmittal to the State Board of Regents in accordance with statutory requirements.

D. The vice president for Administrative Services shall assist the president by having responsibility for daily fiscal operations and audit and for fiscal planning.
