ASSOCIATE OF APPLIED SCIENCE DEGREE (A.A.S)
- » Grade Requirements: A grade of "C-" or better in courses
required for this program in addition to an overall GPA of 2.50 or higher for
all required Specific Major Courses and a minimum cumulative GPA for all courses
of 2.00.

- » Credit Hour Requirements: A total of 63 credit hours is
required -- 62 of these are required within the program. A total of 6 upper division credit hours (numbered 3000 or higher) is required within the
program.

- » Assessment Requirements: Students will be required to
complete certain assessment instruments as part of the overall requirements for
receiving their associate's degree. Please see your advisor or your
department for specific information regarding assessment.

Admission Requirements
Declare a program of study with the
department secretary (Building 2 Room 218). There
are no special admission or application requirements for this program.
General Education
Refer to General Requirements for
Associate of Applied Science requirements. Computer
Literacy as defined in this catalog is also required for the A.A.S.
degree. TBE TE1700, Introduction to Microcomputer Applications, will
partially fill the Computer Literacy requirement and Comm HU1050 and Econ SS1010 will
be used to help fill both program and general education requirements.
